Bingo on Monday

This picture reminds me of one of those hunting dog pictures of a labby-retriever type dog with a limp duck hanging from his mouth:
Bingo, minus sad duck.
Bingo went for a vizzie with Roy & Dana:

By the time I got to the fence to take a photo, Bingo was already at the door on the other side of the house.

No time to take a pic of Bingo at the door, because Dana was running toward the door. Roy's a bit slower:

Sorry, Dana!
Hullo.
Sunday's walk:
Bingo ever on the look out for squirrels & deer.

Tabby coming up to Bingo to nose-kiss, but do I EVER get that on camera?!
 Look!  Another 4-leaf clover:

Bingo & I on are way to the lake & Tabby is in stealth-mode:

See?

 And he's off!

Sorry for the blurriness. Kinda hard to snap a pic & hold on at the same time!
Bingo's all: Whaaaa?
 Heading down to the lake:

Tabby joins us:

My GORGEOUS back yard:
See the labyrinth behind the gum tree?

Back up the driveway:

And time to go in, but Bingo gets all suddenly-sniffy:
And that was our week.  :-)

Mother's Day

Every year, on holidays, her birthday & special occasions, Mum gives the edict: "I don't want any gifts. Only consumables."
*SIGH*

So this year for Mother's day, I gave Mum a book I made for John Morgan for his birthday:
I did it with Picaboo, a GREAT company for creating photo books.
John has a Grasshopper quote-of-the-day thingie that you can sign up for. So I took the first 500 and put them into a book for him. Here's Mum reading:

I think she was laughing at: "It's flattering when someone asks for your advice; it's world-changing when you take your own."

"Life doesn't have an undo button."

HAPPY Mother's Day!

Bingo: Dog, Tree Climber

It's been a quiet week with Bingo. I was away for a few days, so Bingo went to the Wilton Hilton. Here are some pix from our Sunday afternoon walk:

T-Bob joins us:

Bingo chowing down on grass:

*sniff*
 Peek-a-boo:

Such a gorgeous profile:

Back down the driveway:

Hullo.
 Tabby comes to join us:

I was trying to get Bingo to sit in the center of the labyrinth:
This was the best photo out of the lot.
And then Tabby came bounding toward Bingo.
Blurry, but it was a bit of excitement!
OK, here's the tree-climbing portion of the post:
Bingo has apparently caught the scent of a squirrel.
 Get the squirrel, Bingo!

Look at that wrinkled brow of curiosity & concentration.

*sniff*

Down toward the lake:
You can see the lake if you're looking for it.

One of my favourite little trees.
And we end with Tabby perched on a fallen tree:

Sweet Surprise in My Yard

I went away for a few days last week. Last weekend, Chiro-sis & I started the new labyrinth. We also started to spruce up Maggie's grave/garden. I got some chicken wire from Brother Atlasta & we put it down before the mulch. This is supposed to deter cats from using mulch in gardens as their litter box.

Tabby in the labyrinth. This is what he used to do at the River House, too.

Hullo.
With animals & children, you have to get down at eye-level to take their pictures. But as soon as I do:
Tabby comes toward me.
When I got back from my trip, I discovered Chiro-sis had come over & distributed all the rocks that I had into the labyrinth. And she finished Maggie's garden:
Heart-shaped for my sweet Maggie.
