HAPPY Birthday, John!

Today is John Morgan's birthday. And now I can tell this story. I sent him a package last week. Birthdays are very special in the House of Morgan. John says that everyone's birthday is reflected on a clock twice a day. And when you notice a special date on the clock, you can say a wish for that person. So 4:16 is John's birthday. I am not often awake at 4:16 a.m. but I can notice the clock in the afternoon. I made something for John with a graphic that had "John 4:16" on it. I ended up not using one, so I cut it up and put it on the outside of John's package:

I was not prepared for the response from the gal at the post office. She said, "That's my favourite quote from the Bible. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them." And then a man standing behind me said that was one of his favourite quotes, too. Post Office Gal said, "We should put more scriptures on packages." 

I nodded. I'm not really up on bible passages. I sort of recall a wrestler with a John 3:16 tattoo, but not 4:16. I didn't have the heart to tell her it wasn't a scripture because it had such great meaning to her. So I said, "Me, too!" And now it is.

B-Dog & T-Bob

I made a new discovery about Bingo. She does not like frozen blueberries! I was making a smoothie and spilled some onto the floor. One of the advantages of having a dog is the clean up of random food particles on the floor. But no! *sniff*  And then nothin'. And, she will not eat avocado. I was not adding it to her food. Again, I dropped some on the floor. She heard the drop from the living room and trotted in expectantly. She sniffed it and then looked at me with a "Really?" look. You know the kind. So I picked it up and held it out to her. *sniff*  Nothin'. "That is not even food" was the look I got.

Sunday Laughs

I don't think she would have laughed except that I started laughing. You know: church laughing, where you don't make any noise and you try not to snort, and you just shake trying to contain it. I couldn't wait to tell Brother Atlasta, the atheist scientist. "Oh, that's what that noise is for," he said. 

Good times.

Red Bud Trees Budding

Just in the last coupla days we've got spring. So BEAUTIFUL!

Bingo & Tabby Bobcat on Monday

I moved Bingo's dog bed from my bedroom into the LR:

This was an invitation for Tabby Bobcat, of course!

On our walk:

He loves to roll around in the dirt. Usually followed by sitting on my lap!

There are plenty of dirt-spots on the driveway, he doesn't have to be so close to the road!

But as soon as he sees us heading back, he follows:

I have yet to capture a nose kiss between these two. It's v. sweet. T-Bob walks off.
