Just in the last coupla days we've got spring. So BEAUTIFUL!

LOVE all my red bud trees!

Bingo & Tabby Bobcat on Monday

I moved Bingo's dog bed from my bedroom into the LR:

This was an invitation for Tabby Bobcat, of course!

On our walk:

He loves to roll around in the dirt. Usually followed by sitting on my lap!

Bingo in the afternoon sunlight.

 This makes me nervous:

There are plenty of dirt-spots on the driveway, he doesn't have to be so close to the road!

But as soon as he sees us heading back, he follows:

Whew!

If I hadn't seen this:

I wouldn't have known that the turkey hawk (buzzard?) was what Bingo was tracking:

Spring is springing:

Apparently there are some sniff-worthy smells around the porch:

Tabby Bobcat looks on.

I have yet to capture a nose kiss between these two. It's v. sweet. T-Bob walks off.

And leaves Bingo.  *sniff*

Living Room: Before & After

I promised Mum to post pix of all my hard work. Harhar

BEFORE:

Keepin' it real. Behind the chair on the right is where I hid the litter box. And then I got the cat door so Tabby Bobcat could go outside. Except for when it snowed.  *sigh*  But it is now GONE, barring any April blizzards.  

That brown mahogany-type piece to the right of the chair is where I feed the cat. It has 2 pull-out bins to hold the food. But I also have a book case behind the chair with blocks & games for the kiddliewinks, not v. accessible.

Like I said, keepin' it real. I keep the furniture covered to protect it from cat & dog hair. 

Love my wall o' books. And little closety-type thing on the end.

AFTER: 

Doesn't look too different. Except I moved the cat's feeding station!

Before putting on fresh covers. 

A lot less cluttered. 

 Except:

Tabby Bobcat was a bit confused.

Where is my food?

NOT amused.

I have to keep his food out of reach of Bingo, because she WILL eat whatever she can reach! So I moved Tabby's food station to where he spends a lot of time:

In my office.  It took a while before he adjusted. For the first few days, he'd jump up in front of the TV and just MEOW in protest. But now he's gotten used to it. 

Bingo & Tabby: The Last of the Snow & RoRo

I promised more snow pix from last week. This was what was left of the snow when I could take photos without getting my camera all wet!

This past week: 

Nephew Rowan discovers the cat door for the first time:

Here he is having a snack:

The crinkling sound of the snack bag can only mean a treat is in Bingo's future!

Hullo.

Tabby STILL scratches across the window for me to let him in! 

Rowan looking like a chipmunk and Bingo inching toward his snack bowl!

 And then Rowan leaves, and Bingo settles in to look out the cat door:

Plans in the works to turn that into a DOG door to lead to a fenced in back yard.
