Day of Rest: Spring Lilac

A family friend was standing on my porch looking out past the woodshed. "Oh, look," she says. "Your lilac bushes are blooming!"

"Yes, they are," I said out loud. And to myself, "I have lilac bushes?! How did I not notice this before?!!!" BEAUTIFUL!
