Grace's Bible-dori

I have been waiting to post this because I didn't want to spoil it for Grace, my YouTube friend in Oz. We had a back 'n' forth on my Tea Time Traveler's Notebook video about my Bible-dori. I had gotten 4 purple pocket bibles (USED--I draw the line at defiling a new bible!) but this one had this on it:

So it was meant to be!  Here are some photos:

Charm on side:

I made a pocket on the inside cover with coordinating scrapbook paper:
A card for Grace tucked in the pocket. On the right I made a pocket
folder, which I think I laminated so it could be used as a dashboard.
Inside of folder:

A little envelope with a coupla packets of tea, because who doesn't like a cuppa?

I included some little notebooks that I'd gotten from Office Max, & put some quotes on them:
That's my favourite gratitude quote. I'm also reminded of Tony Robbins saying that you can't feel angry or afraid when you're feeling grateful. Kind of like how Bruce Lipton says that you can't be in a state of love or fear at the same time, either.

Another quote & a coordinating purple pen. :-)
Other side of pocket:

With some goodies:
4-Leaf clovers because who doesn't need some luck?
I also made some quote cards for her:
Look! There's John Morgan. :-) Mum used to say, The world
would be a better place if everyone would just read John's blog!"
The last insert, with the butterfly, is a 2-year calendar. A bit too long for the Bible-dori & the paper quality is not great. I won't be getting those again, but good to have as a reference. For Americans, tho. Not as handy for the international crowd!

And here's the back:
I didn't put a pocket on the back since I did the folder. Also,
from now on I'm going to do the enclosure elastics in the spine.
Here it is without the inserts:
The maps on the inside cover were actually part of the Bible and I glued them on as the background.
Here's all the stuff I put in there:

I was so excited to see Grace's video this morning to see how she's using it!

AWESOME!  And doesn't she have the CUTEST dog?!  :-)

4-leaf Clover Sheets

You know I have a knack for finding 4-leaf clovers. In a convo with John Morgan I remarked last summer, "I have not found any 4-leaf clovers in the last 6 weeks!"  He replied v. dryly, "You do realize that people go their whole lives not finding any 4-leaf clovers."  REALLY?

And so I created a digital download to sell in my Etsy Shop for people who want their own 4-leaf clovers. This is great for classroom teachers, mixed media artists, scrapbookers, journalers and jewelry artists.

A note about the "Labyrinth Gal" scrawled all over the images: that's to protect the images from being stolen and resold. Labyrinth Gal is not there in the download, just the 4-leaf clovers.  :-)

A Little Luck from Adam Levine

I was on the phone with one of my radio gals and I was walking around outside. As you do. And I looked down and found a four-leaf clover. As you do. I told her I'd send it to her. And since she's such a huge Adam Levine fan, I embellished it a bit:

Doggie Monday

Apologies for the delayed post!  It has been a GORGEOUSLY GREEN week, with lots of rain! Here's Reggie:

Grazing.

Bingo says HULLO.

*sniff*
 RoRo Vizzie
He doesn't WALK anywhere!

Bingo in her Thunder Shirt.

Running down to the gate.

Rowan wanted to take Bingo for a walk down to the lake. After 4 inches of rain. In between rain storms.

Bingo & Rowan waiting for me to cave in.
T-Bob reflected pretty much how I felt about going down to the lake in the mud:

But we did go down. Sorry, no pix. I was afraid it would start raining again & didn't want to risk taking my camera down. As it turns out, it was a good call! It did start raining. Again.  *sigh*
*scritchy-scratch*

LUCKY
'member when I first looked at this house and found a 4-leaf clover?
So I wanted to take more pictures, because once I started looking, I kept seeing more and more. But then this:

But eventually I managed to pick them:
26. I shoulda played the lottery that day. Ha.

The real luck is in the background of this picture.  [Side note here: REALLY, Blogger? You're not letting me do a heart emoticon? You mistake it for some broken html code? You don't recognize emoticons? *SIGH*   End of rant].
 And here's Reggie:
Happy, relaxed mouth & waggy tail.  Makes my heart smile.  :-)

Bingo sunning herself, but here comes Reggie:

"Come on, let's play!"

He is literally running circle around her!

I was out of town from Thursday afternoon to Sunday night. Bingo and Reggie went to the Wilton Hilton, of course. Again--sorry, no pix. (BAD blogger)!  Will make more of an effort next time . . . .Anyway, usually Chiro-sis comes over to check on T-Bob, but she was with me this time. So I asked Brother Atlasta to come over. He emailed this:

Checked cat. He seemed disinterested and aloof.  Quite frankly was being a bit of an asshole, but then I remembered he's a cat so all is normal. Plenty of food and water. Changed water anyway.

Hahahahaha  All is well.

Bingo on Monday

This picture reminds me of one of those hunting dog pictures of a labby-retriever type dog with a limp duck hanging from his mouth:
Bingo, minus sad duck.
Bingo went for a vizzie with Roy & Dana:

By the time I got to the fence to take a photo, Bingo was already at the door on the other side of the house.

No time to take a pic of Bingo at the door, because Dana was running toward the door. Roy's a bit slower:

Sorry, Dana!
Hullo.
Sunday's walk:
Bingo ever on the look out for squirrels & deer.

Tabby coming up to Bingo to nose-kiss, but do I EVER get that on camera?!
 Look!  Another 4-leaf clover:

Bingo & I on are way to the lake & Tabby is in stealth-mode:

See?

 And he's off!

Sorry for the blurriness. Kinda hard to snap a pic & hold on at the same time!
Bingo's all: Whaaaa?
 Heading down to the lake:

Tabby joins us:

My GORGEOUS back yard:
See the labyrinth behind the gum tree?

Back up the driveway:

And time to go in, but Bingo gets all suddenly-sniffy:
And that was our week.  :-)
