When I was a young gal, I was Danny's nanny. This is a picture he drew on a T-shirt when he was in first grade. He married a first grade teacher, and I used this picture to make their wedding card. Today is his birthday. :-)

I'm sure today's date is an excuse for parties in offices around the country. And it IS a special date because it's Dan's birthday. Not Dr. Dan Murphy, this week's theme, but the boy for whom I was a nanny. [See? I can do the grammER thing with the best of them].

This was a visit a few years ago after Dan's college graduation.

See that impish grin on his face? He tickled me.

P.S. It was Mum's b-day yesterday, but we are doing the official CELEBRATION tomorrow with the fam. She & I celebrated yesterday with a BIG SALAD, wild Alaskan salmon, and a Frazier Fest. Yum. LOVE you, Mum!
