A few pix

Yesterday's sunrise:

I've been chauffeuring some Amish people to different places. Being the compulsive photographer I am, it's hard not to take pictures! Yesterday I transported a gentleman to a friend's new homestead out in the country. My kinda place! The home is being built with timber from the land and they had a sawmill right there. How cool is that?!  Especially on the heels of the Deforestation Debauchery that I wrote about earlier. I snapped a quick pic after the drop off when I was heading back down the driveway:

Here's Lady in her cat bed. You can just see a bit of the cat in the lower left corner of the photo:

Found a grasshopper:

Friend Teresa gave me these hydrangeas for eco-dying, but they were too pretty not to display:

And of course, ferns!

All is well.  :-)

News from the Coop: The S-COOP!

I've been chicken-sitting for some new friends and being the compulsive photographer I am, I put together a newsletter for their time away. These are from the last two vizzies and I'm getting ready to do another one this week.  I posted this on Ledger & Lace, but thought I'd do this on my personal blog as well.  :-)

A Few Springish Pix

But first . . .

I know, I know. I need something called "white balance" in my photos so the snow looks more whiter and less bluer.

This is from a coupla weeks ago; Friday, March 4th to be exact. I woke up to snow and then it melted by the afternoon. So pretty, tho.

And now into Spring . . .

Turtles down at what's left of the lake:

There were a whole bunch, but when they saw me, they hit the water:

Looking kinda like the Loch Ness sea-monster. Only turtles.

Here's a long shot of the lake:

Sunken boat:

So sad . . . now on to happier, Springy things:

I took these at Ruth's:

I'm posting all of these so that John Morgan, (no link) can tell me which ones are the best.

Here's Ro, playing peek-a-boo:

HAPPY SPRING!
